Registry
« on: October 17, 2006, 08:04:28 pm »

I found the settings in the registry.  It looks like it wouldn't be too tough for me to set them all how I want and then export them so I can import them on my other computers.  However, many of you probably realize Microsoft is trying to move away from the registry.  Why can't J River be ahead of its time--or in line with the hottest products of today?!  Firefox and Gaim store a big portion if not all of their settings, accounts, profiles, etc., in xml files which can EASILY be updated, saved, copied, etc.  I can also go so far as to store the files on a centralized server so all the computers access those same files for each user.

Please accept this as my request for a feature like this to be implemeneted.  It would be so nice to have everything in a standard, non-proprietary file.
