« on: October 17, 2006, 08:57:27 am »

Sorry about my english.

Up to now MC doesn't support cdg files. Of course you can play the mp3-files with MC, but no way to get the cdg-lyrics (as far as I know).

There were some smaller discussions about it longer time ago. Take a look at this one. It looks like waiting for such a thing makes no sense...  ;)

A workaround maybe can be found here http://www.untiedknot.co.uk/cdg2avi/. A little programm to convert a cdg file to avi.

:) Thanks to reply to me. It knew that there was a program to convert cdg to avi, but that means a big hard disk. Thanks

I have seen a program called CDG-Filter. In Windows Media runs ok, but in Media Center no. In the Author Page say:
"is a DirectX system extension (ActiveX plug-in) that will allow you to play CDG and BIN files using any DirectX-aware file players, like Windows Media Player"
With this filter it will be possible?? :-\
