My library contains a large number of DiVX video files, somewhere around 930 files ranging in size from 100MB - 350MB. I mainly use MC in Theater Mode with the thumbnail version of the display. When I go into a folder for the first time, MC automatically generates thumbnails for the files in there.
Frequently the thumbnails fail to build and the "?" icon remains instead. Typically in a folder wth 20 files, 2-5 files will fail like this. The only way to get the thumbnail to build after that is to switch back to standard view, right click the file, and choose Image-->Remove Cover Art. After that, MC will re-create the thumbnail for that file and it succeeds.
Is this something J River can take a look at or can you reccomend anything I might need to change at my end? I've already made sure I'm using the latest version of the DiVX codec.
