I have an iPod shuffle and I'm using a single sync playlist for this in MC. The tracks in this playlist however are not syncing to the device in the order as shown by the "seq" column. It seems to be copying tracks to the device in Artist order. Is this a limitation of the shuffle (though this works ok with iTunes) or can I change this behaviour?

Same problem with my iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen...the order sequence I have in my syncing playlist is not the order that the songs play on my shuffle (and no it's not set to "shuffle").

I had a similar problem--although I use smartlists for synching...

I solved it by editing the smart list to include a sort order in the "Modify Results" section of the smartlist editor.

If you are using regular playlists, I'm afraid I don't have any ideas....
