If YADB is selected and you clickon Settings It Tells you does not work with YADB. fine

if you select CDDB it tells you the same thing

if you select CDDB close the window, then open it back up then it allows you to use settings for CDDB

Was playing a song (number 6 out of 6 in Playing Now List), when I wanted to add a new song, expeting it to be add'ed to the end of the playlist as song number 7 (since I have "Playing Now - Add (To End)" selected).

But....that's not quite what happen (I didn't have random selected)..

It did add the song to the end of the playlist as number 7.
(BTW, I double clicked the new song).
Down in the left coner it said song 1 of 7 (!!)
So I the looked at the Playing Now List, and it did have the (Playing Now Speaker thing/logo at the first song of the playlist...)
But it did not play that song, it was still playing song number 6. (!!)
Ok...so I just waited to se what happen next, and after song 6 was done it started to play song number 2 (!!)

I can reproduce this in versin 360 and the new one 361...

This release have the same problem i have reported in the other release, if you have more than 3 music's in playng now and you are hearing the 2 or the 3 and select other music in your library it appears that you are listening the first but in real you are listening the 2 or 3

MJ's .ogg tagging is still using "DESCRIPTION" instead of "COMMENT" for the comment field label.  If MJ is supposed to support some of Winamp's plugins, shouldn't it use the same standards that those plugins use?

Besides the conflict with ogg's COMMENT, there is also the ID3V2.3 conflict of using MJ's "COMM" vs the standard "TCOM" label for comments.

Could you look into getting MJ's tagging to agree with the rest of my audio tools?

Thanks for adding this. Works great.

This has got to be getting very close now.

Yeah, I can confirm what others have been saying.

I have a bunch of files in Playing Now and I'm listening to them. If I then find another file in my library, right click it, and choose "Send To->Playing Now - Add(as next to play)", MJ will add the track to Playing Now in the position it should. But then when I return to Playing Now, MJ reports that it is now playing the first file in Playing Now (both the speaker icon and the Player Window), when it is, in fact, playing the song it's always been playing. When the song changes, MJ plays the second file in the list instead of the file that I just added.

I am having problems similar to Henrik L.  When I try to add songs to Playing Now (playing now) it doesn't start playing the song.  It gets stuck on track 2.  It also messing up the name and shows infomation for track 1 but plays track 2.

"Check for updates" has not worked in at least the prior three versions for me.  I must manually download and install.  "Check for Updates" produces a "no updates at this time" dialog, which has not been true.

In release 8.0.359 it said
NEW: If image is relative to the track then during moving of tracks image will be moved with the track.
I have an album folder with a folder.jpg cover image attached. When I use the Rename files tool to move the album, the tracks move but the cover image stays behind....   Am I misunderstanding what is suppose to happen??
While I'm here.... When ripping a CD are we going to get an option to put the cover art in the same folder as the tracks and call it folder.jpg.   I know people don't like having to do things the Microsoft way.. but  WindowsXP is here to stay ...

JoeZ,
Check for updates only looks at what's on the downloads page.  Anything here on Interact is considered "experimental" until it has survived a few days without serious problems.

Another bug found...probably been there for ages.

Having whole Media Library in Playing Now, with 1. Shuffle on, 2. Sorted by Name - Track - Album - Artist.
Shift-Delete a song and physically delete the song produces the list to re-order to whatever order the list has (meaning no shuffle anymore in my case)

Nothing serious, but still...

MJ rocks!

On my machine, it just shows the cover art from the first song played no matter what song is being played.  If you stop playing, then start again, it will display the cover art from the "new first song" until the next time you stop playing.

I have cover art set internal to the file, instead of external from a cover art file.  Does that make a difference?

Thanks,

Bill
