Not sure if it's me and there's something I haven't enabled, but why is there no animated GIF support?
Kind of annoying to have to use a second imageviewer (IrfanView) to watch GIF's.

Will this feature be available in the future?

Yeah this has been a pretty longstanding request!

While I certainly don't have an extensive collection of animated gifs in my library, it would be nice if MC could handle the ones I do have.

We support animated GIFs in the Mini View skinning engine.

However, our image playback system is not currently configured to support animation.

It's a good idea to add, but it may need to wait for v13.

I Tried It A Few Months Ago When They Released The First MC12 Betas.

I Want To Add Some "Frankenstein Type" High Voltage Electrodes.

Matt If You Guys Do Work On It, Mouse Over Effects Like Change Image, And Sound Would Be Nice Too...

So If I Put My Mouse Over The Electrode Area The Voltage Will Spark More (Change GIF Animation) And Then I Could Also Add A Higher Voltage Sound If The Mouse Is Over The Electrodes.
