UPnP server with DSM-320

What can owners or users of the DSM-320 (D-Link) express about their experiences?  It sounds like it requires a UPnP server which isn't great, but I think it will be fine since MC is running 24/7 on my server anyway.  I would prefer direct file access.

My biggest question is if VIDEO_TS folders play like a regular DVD with menus, etc.?  If so, I will assume all my other single file videos will work since their file format should be compatible or MC has built in conversion for video if I'm not mistaken.  I also know if it doesn't play FLAC that can be re-encoded.

Any experiences with it would be helpful.  I ordered one from Buy.com for just over $90 after rebate.  That seems like a great deal.
