Don't think this'll be supported by JRiver until Nebula release BDA's for the DigiTV mate, tho it is the best freeview/TV card I've used & well thought of by those in the know. Their software isn't half bad either.
They say BDA's are in the roadmap though...
www.nebula-electronics.comUpcoming Versions:
- Support for MHP Digital Teletext (Europe & Australia).
- Support for CD/MP3 playback and recording.
- Support for DVD playback and recording.
- Finalising of the interface to act as a total home entertainment suite.
- Inclusion of a motion-vector compensated bob deinterlace algorithm for video.
- A move to DirectX to speed drawing of the GUI and add special effects.
- BDA drivers for use with Windows MCE.
I dare say if JRiver were interested then the below would apply but I doubt they have the time TBH (although the card is also used in Australia, to name but one country; to pick up HDTV):
Windows Software SDK
A number of software authors have contacted us asking if an API or SDK will be available for the DigiTV card soon. Responding to these requests, we've decided to develop a DigiTV SDK for windows applications.
The SDK is currently only available under NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) to UK universities and corporations - sorry, we can't supply it to private individuals at present.
It is issued as source code that interfaces with the DigiTV drivers and gives the user full access to the transport stream. For more details, please contact us at sales@nebula-electronics.com
