I was billed twice

On 1/16/07 I purchased Media Center at around 7:27 PM EST, I received the email with the reg code, then I got another reg code at 9:10 PM that night.  I just noticed that my credit card was billed twice for my purchase of this product.  Why was this done?  Not a happy camper right now.

Matthew - yes, your credit card was used twice. I'll resolve the double billing on monday, but in the meantime, you should figure out how it happened.
Are there kids in the house that could have used the browser's back button?
Was it on a public computer?
Anyone else on that computer?
Both charges are from the same IP address.

Let me know if there's any other info I can provide that will help track it down.

They're were no kids, the back button wasn't pushed.  After the program was registered I started copying music to the machine.  The computer was a brand new computer.

I looked a little more. The first time was a normal purchase: you got to the buy screen, then a confirm screen, then the 3rd screen has the completed purchase.

The second purchase didn't show the buy screen or the confirm screen, just the 3rd screen, so it most likely was caused by the back button or a reload of the page or something similar (we have checks in to prevent this, but the two purchases were far enough apart they didn't get noticed as the "same" purchase).

In addition, the same password was used both times, again indicating a "back button" style problem.

Sorry for the difficulty, I'll void the second purchase on monday.

Just wondering if the second charge was voided yet or not, it doesn't show that it has been yet on my credit card.
