Tag Editing - text box selection

It would be really cool if when editing semi-colon delimited fields if the text box was selected on entry to the field so those of us that tabbed into the field and would like to type, that we could type right away without having to reach for the mouse to click into the text box and go back to the keyboard to type.

Having the text box selected would not slow down the mouse users at all.

Suggestion:  is the "Add New Tag" button needed anymore since the text box exists?
