Windows Mobile Sync Issues
« on: September 05, 2007, 05:28:28 am »

Hi there,

I'm having continuing issues with synchronising the storage card of my Windows Mobile 6 phone with MC12.

I've set the Device options to "delete files not in list" - but everytime I re-synchronise, it deletes all of the music files on the card - even 'tho the files have not been changed or moved from when it put them there. It seems that MC can't recognise the files it's creating.

I'm using the Handheld Cache to cache re-encoded files.

Also, MC seems to think that the device can't handle Album Art - and I know it does. Is there a way to FORCE MC to create the Album art file?

Even tho I'm on Vista this issue also exists when using my XP machine.

I've also got a log of the whole process if it will help...

Below is my Sys Info:

Are you synchronizing a Smartlist?

We may be having trouble writing/reading our device database file. If you send me (rick [at] jriver.com) a log file of the sync operation with only the Handheld events turned on I can look into it further.
