Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but i didn't find it on a quick search.

Is there a reason the standard library fields properties are locked? A couple of days ago I thought of the idea to change the Genre field into list, so i could assign multiple genres to it. This since the list edit has become so nicely integrated. But i noticed this was not possible for standard fields. I often see people tagging their genre fields with multiple items (seperated with

so it would nicely integrate with MC. But as it is now, all of them will generate it's own "genre".

Or is there something other that may mess up this that I don't know of?

What do you others think about this?
