Smartlist help
« on: February 16, 2007, 06:18:13 pm »

I'm trying to make a smartlist that will include 3 podcast videos.

1) One Call For Help episode
cfh podcast Sort=Name  --this picks the oldest episode (limiting is my problem)

2) One DL.TV episode
dl.tv podcast Sort=Name --also picks oldest episode

3) Cranky Geeks
crankygeeks podcast Sort=Name --same

I am having trouble getting one of each in one playlist.  I know I can add ~n=1 but that overpowers the entire playlist.  I tried parenthesis with a limiter in each but that didn't work.  I need a way to limit each separate item individually without making three playlists and then combining them in a fourth (And syncing the 4th).

I found a great wiki entry that allowed me to figure this out.  The mix option is great for this kind of work!  Here's what I came up with:
podcast ~mix=3,1,{[Name]=cfh ~sort=[Name]},1,{[Name]=dl.tv ~sort=[Name]},1,{[Name]=crankygeeks ~sort=[Name]}
