Anybody seen/tried this? I found it today while googling for something completely different. It's basically an image compositing program that's offered as a Vista Ultimate Extra, but you don't have to have Vista to use it. I'm on XP and it works great.
Basically what it does is if you have multiple images all of the same subject, from the same perspective (doesn't have to be a perfect match), all taken roughly around the same time (like if you were trying to get a group photo and had to keep trying over and over and over because there was always somebody looking the wrong way or whatever), you can import them into Group Shot. Then you simply draw selection boxes around the parts of each image you want to keep, and add them to your composite. Group Shot does the rest. I've played around with it a little bit and it's amazing how good the results are and how easy it is to use.
