Library disappears after closing MC

My music library disappears after closing MC (V 12.0.164). Importing function works fine and clips play. Close MC, relaunch... files have disappeared requiring repeated importing. This occurs only on my server PC where music is stored locally. Networked computers do not have this problem. Also, tag changes made on other networked computers do not render on server's library. Very strange. Please help. Thank you.

Have you tried reinstalling MC? better yet update to the current built .179
