Vista Tree Issue
« on: March 11, 2007, 04:57:56 pm »

Running Vista, and am having an issue with the tree - so far the only place I have noticed it is in podcasts.  When I change any podcast feed settings (add a new feed, change download options, etc) the entire podcast tree collapses when I close the options box.  I have 'auto expand' turned off in the system settings.

Am I the only one having issues with the Podcast tree in Vista - or am I just the only one using podcasts with MC12 and Vista?  I've noticed that it is not just changes to the feed that cause this - it seems to be randomly collapsing itself after various actions (like after deleting an episode).

I think you might have nailed it there.   ;)

I poked around and didn't have any anomalies.

Figured it out.  I had added a second custom node also with the title 'Podcasts' so that I could see all of them (whether they came from MC or an outside source).  Apparently MC doesn't like this and auto-collapses the node even though I have 'auto-expand' turned off.

or it just doesn't like you?

I use MC12 and vista but use Doppler on my server to download podcasts at 4 in the morning.  That's a great setup for anyone interested.  Then, you don't put as much load on podcast servers and they're there in the morning.  I hardly listen or view my podcast downloads right now.  I just don't have the time to devote a few hours a week to keep up!  I often just go in and delete a ton, and from time to time will enjoy a podcast or two.

That would depend on who's servers they are.
Your 4 in the morning is someone elses Mid day =)
