Simple Ripping question

When Ripping 2 CD's it says ripping 2 tracks, next to the bar it says 7,2x. Is it combined speed or individual drive speed?

Also, when choosing details, the list contains tracks from both CD's but only one CD is updated with progress details (the bar and 'completed'). The Status collumn of the other CD (which is definitely being ripped) remains empty. Is this a known issue or am I missing something?
