CD Labeler is r0x0r! :)
« on: August 25, 2002, 04:56:26 pm »

I must say, I never labeled CDs before. It was such a pain in the neck with the stupid Word templates and such. I played around with CD Labeler some this weekend, and I must say it makes labeling CDs (both jewel case and the disc labels) a cinch. It takes about 5 minutes per CD. Thanks!

Hi John T.,

I'm using plain paper for the jewel case labels, and a very cool
enhancement would make me able to print both front and back labels at once on one sheet (till now, I have to print them separately...
no problem as long as I don't forget to reload the sheet on the right side, and it already happened while busy with something else).

FastYves-
Do you use "Plain Paper/Generic" or "Plain Paper/Slimline"?

I realize the Labeler is not the focus of MJ (at least not for just $25), but if you could enhance it to near the level of Easy CD Creator 4/5.

Creator has:
1.) Nice (large) preview screen w/ editable contents and movable frames (rotatable too, I believe).
2.) Changeable fonts (inc. size & color).
3.) Flexible background image handling.

One thing about the MJ Labeler. If your on Media Library and start Labeler it will load the entire library. I thought something was broke until it finished loading 1300  track titles. Some kind of progress meter or warning to the effect would be nice.

Xenno,

You can launch the labeler from the start button > programs in windows. Keeps it from doing nasty things like this.
