IPod Gap vs. NoGap between songs

It seems when syncing, I have seemingly not been able to insert a gap between songs on the Ipod.  Is there a way to do so?  With Anapod IPod Manager (which I am trying to abandon with MC12), there is an option to insert a 2 second gap.  Any help would be appreciated.
