VST Plugins anyone?
« on: March 12, 2007, 12:10:13 pm »

Hey Boys and Girls,
Some of you might recall me suggesting something called the Johnny Carson method as an alternate way to chain multiple plugins. It's been my experience that too many plugins in  directx host make media center unresponsive. The initial premise was using a different guest host app within the regular directx host. I recentlly stumbled accross a full freeware host app with no limitations called effect chainer that might be worth checking out. It can be found at http://www.acondigital.com. It can be used inside directx host and it accepts not only DirectX but VST plugins too.  :o
