Anyone know if there is an easy way of automatically moving tags from one field to another. For Example if i wish to move the tag in artist to a custom field called Artist or artist name, how would i do that. i've got about 4,000 tags to move, and doing it all manually will take days.

select a file rightclick>library tools>move/copy fields
try one. if it does what you want select more files.

select files, then click in the [artist name] tag in the action window and type: =[artist]

Just tried what both Gappie and Marko recommended, and it worked like a charm.
