I've had a problem ripping Cds since downloading and installing MJ 8.0.348. Here's the skinny:
I was ripping Cds with the MP3 Encoder with no problems. I decided to try the OGG Vorbis encoder for kicks, hearing good things about it elsewhere. The computer froze after about 4 songs, and it wouldn't even allow me to do an alt-cont-del restart, and I had to power down and power back up. I decided to switch back to MP3, and it froze there too, same procedures required.
I give it a few days, restart my computer, and rip a few CDs with MP3 no problem. Then I decide to try the OGG encoder again, with the same freeze-up problem. I try ripping another with the MP3 encoder, and it froze three times.
I was not running any other programs when I experienced the problems today.
