Problem with Ripping
« on: August 22, 2002, 05:24:07 pm »

For some reason, MJ is ripping very slowly. I tested ripping with EAC just to be sure it wasn't my CD drive giving me grief, but it's not. There's something wrong with MJ! I get 18x-20x ripping in EAC, and only 0.7x-1.2x in MJ.

The drive is a Yamaha CRW2100EZ.

Ahhh... I see where you're going with this. Let me check my ripping speed on MJ with ripping to .WAV and simultaneous rip/encode turned off.

Thanks
