UPnP Device with speakers?
« on: January 17, 2007, 11:18:30 am »

Anyone know of a UPnP device (that works with MC) and has built in speakers?

All the ones i find plug into a soundsystem - but i don't want that.....

Any advice gratefully received!

I'm surprised noone's spoken up...  I'd guess the Roku SoundBridge Radio would work with MC.  I just got an M1001 and so far it works well, except for the search function which MC appears to not implement.  The M1001 and SB Radio look to be very closely related internally.

If you buy from them there's a 30 day money-back guarantee, though you'd be out shipping if you returned it.

I just saw this and is many months since you asked, but the Roku Radio does work very well with MC.  I have the clock radio and the 1001.  They both work very well.
