Tough DVD question

Is there a way to create quick links as shortcuts or even in MC (that would be great) that would allow Simpsons episodes to be listed individually so they could be searched and viewed better without the requirement of dealing with the DVDs even though they technically are stored on the computer.  It would be nice if users could create quick links to certain titles in the DVD and it absolutely must be able to store the data somehow in the DVD folder so it will be saved in a location other than just the MC database.
