CTRL-SHIFT-F12
« on: June 27, 2007, 07:55:07 pm »

Is there any way to disable the MC functioinality that CTRL-SHIFT-F12 pastes the current playing song info? Or is there a way to change the hot key? This collides with Visual Studio's go-to-next-error hot key.

You can remove the accelerator from resource.xml in the MC folder.  Each install replaces it, so it's a bit of a drag, but not impossible.

You can also configure Visual Studio shortcuts to be anything you want.

Thanks, I'll look at the XML. It's probably too hard to change my VS habbits, my fingers have a mind of their own.

What about you MC devs? Do you not use VS, or have you remapped your hotkey (or, *gasp*, do you not use MC while developing)?

This is why forums are totally superior to Facebook and other "social media". Searching here for a solution to this problem (from a new software I need for my job, which does not have configurable shortcut keys) took seconds. I can just as well give up looking for something I posted in a Facebook group a few months ago...  ;D
