I kept getting error message - "Media center encountered an error when tagging and moving files, check to see if they exist, read only or in use by other programs". None of that was true (and why is trying to move the files anyway?), so I removed everything from the library and imported it all again. Now I have nothing in the Artist field except numbers and nothing at all in the genre field. THere is nothing wrong with the tags, Media Monkey and WMP read them just fine. I tried "update library from tags" and it didn't work. And I'm still getting the same error message.

What is going on here?

you may want to try, "Update Library From Tags"

But if you want to send me one of the files i will try to import it into MC12

No Problems Importing, Seems All Data Is Intact

I reinstalled and that seems to have taken care of the problem. Thanks.
