Finding that the new Theater View makes Video/TV Show/Image browsing really nice but something is lacking in Audio.

1. Notice how with Images you end up with a screen of pictures? I utilize a lot of tabs & view schemes to recreate browsing through CD books. I enjoy the horizontal layout of Theater View but it feels really sparse; cover art is a great way to flip through music. So at Album level, it would be profound to have something like this in Theater View (sorted by Artist in this case):



If this was yet another option in Theater View I would seriously consider using TV all the time. TheaterView on a big screen lots of album covers; that's how to utilize the display! 

Once you double click the album cover it would then send you to the file list. Being able to set cover art size in this view would also be really sharp imo, maybe even adding alphabet option at the top.

Please consider it

Guess with the toggle you get Tiles which are close to the pic I posted.

Can we remove the text? Control the size of the thumbs. This seems really doable considering how close the existing layout is to having a full screen of big/small album covers......TV doesn't seem to obey the View Scheme settings to display no text beneath the Tiles...bug?

I agree. Need more TV options. Removing text on albums, and the ability to resize covers would be nice.
Settings of wich view you are using should also be saved for each level of the menu. Why should you not be able to use lineup for genre and tumbnails for artists and albums?
And as I have said before, the speed of the lineup cover animation could have been faster.

A bit off subject, but I forgot to mention the ability to hide the menu at the left side. That would be tremendous. Would get a much better home theater feeling imo.

YES!

I had hopes for hiding the display in the normal MC view long ago, but now we need it here in Theater View. The tree, "Big Sherman", has survived this long so why not do it in Theater View.

You're right, the option to have the menu hidden would really make it THEATER VIEW.

I don't know why Theater View doesn't support my sorting setting in schemes nor the choice to not display text...I thought it was a bug.

I just took a quick loock in the \FullSkins\Shared\Base 1.xml.
Could not see any obvious way of disabling the left menu. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
The Views are made mostly of xml so this whould be possible right?
