Saving tagchanges while playing
« on: July 09, 2007, 07:54:00 am »

I noticed that MC12 doesn't always save all tagchanges, in perticular those from files  that are playing now. When I auto-import I sometimes get a few tracks (that i listend to while tagging) from the previous import, without the tag changes that i made to the rest of the album.

You cant save files while playing. in any player, 'cause windows doesnt allow.
play the next track end the last will be refreshed.

That's not what I meant. Say you are playing song 5 from an album and while it's playing you decide to change the genre of the album. Then MC saves those changes in the tags and displays on the bottom something like "saving tagchanges, 1 remaning" and when the file stops playing it then saves the tagchange for the one file that was playing. It's that last tagchange that MC keeps on hold until the file stops playing that sometimes doesn't get saved. Maybe it's because I'm making too many of changes at the same time when i'm adding multiple albums, but MC11 could always handle it. Just saying. Might be useful.

I've noticed the same thing, especially for album art changes.
