I use an HT Omega sound card.  Available outputs are:

Front Output
Side surround Output
Center/S. woofer output
Back surround output
Optical out
Coaxial out

I have 2 speakers in my bedroom that are connected to the front output. I also have a receiver in the living room connected to the coaxial out.

I have 2 zones set up.  If possible, I'd like to be able to have sound come out of the bedroom speakers only when Zone 1 is activated and (digital) sound sent to the receiver only when Zone 2 is activated.  How can I achieve this?
