AlbumView2: Some screenshots to keep you amused
« on: August 18, 2002, 10:54:06 am »

Just to you you know I have some of the GUI up and running and it's pretty sweet.

Also they were taken with the Woodeck theme applied and fonts set to Tahoma/Bold/11 point which is good for TV viewing.

The first screenshot shows the report view of a normal Album/Artist entry with 32x32 sized thumbnails:

The second screenshot shows your entire albums list in large 150x150 sized thumbnails:

The last screenshot shows a Genre listing with smallicons ... for those who just to just quickly see the thumbnail and the album title:

The GUI is by no means finished and I have tons still to do but it's definately getting there.

One thing these screenshots don't get over is the fact that it's *fast* ... but I am aiming to have a test version ready by next weekend so you can get an idea yourself.

And the good stuff is yet to come ... once I get the test version out I am going to work on ownerdraw listviews and present the data as I really want to.

Gimmie :)

Any chance of ever being able to see the current playlist at the same time?  Like the bottom 1/2 of the columb of the artists showing the the current playlist, wouldn't need to switch views then hehe

Having done some testing for Rhino I gotta say - the Speed increase isn't anything minor - it's ridiculasly faster so much so it doesn't have any useful comparrison to the old speeds - maybe 50x or 100x faster or something :) lol
It's darn nice!!
