MJ 8 Encoding Options
« on: August 16, 2002, 08:42:51 pm »

I have a dual boot operating system set up on my computer, Win XP and Win Me. I am using MJ 8.0 on both systems. Using Win XP I get all encoding options to choose from. Using Win Me in the encoding options list I do not get an option for MP3 or Monkey's Audio (APE. What is the problem using MJ 8.0 in different operting systems.

Try going to the Encoders download page and installing the encoders (you are missing).

To expand on Zrocker's good suggestion:

It sounds like there may be registry or configuration info (related to the encoders) missing from Win ME. Try downloading and installing the encoders you want while you are in Windows ME.
