Missing Songs
« on: October 01, 2007, 06:29:22 pm »

Since moving my music collection over to my NAS, I have found a handful of songs that are now missing.  Is there a way in MC to find gaps in sequence in an album, say, for instance, 1,2,3,...5,6,7, etc?

Try the advanced search option, add some search stuff, and then select (under modify) Expand to full albums.  You may want to leave the search area blank.  It probably isn't what you're looking for, though.  It takes a subset of songs (like a playlist) and expands it to include the full albums.

That brings up severe questions, though!  You better re-evaluate your NAS and make sure something isn't wrong or you may lose your entire collection!  If you're randomly losing songs that's pretty bad!  What is the NAS?
