Long file play back controls

Why do the playback controls (the scroll bar) get screwed up with long files of around 2+ hours??  If i try to skip to someplace at the end of the file it loops back to the beginning.  This happens in both Media Jukebox 8 and Media Center.  This seems like such a simple thing to fix I don't understand why this problem is still around.

i don't think to many people have 2hr+ files

Yeah, I'm sure that's true.  Unfortunely I have a large archive of 2-3 hour long mp3 recordings.  To have full control of playback I have to use another program.  It's not really a big issue.  I just thought I'd ask about it since I've noticed the problem for a while.

well if you feel it is a bug and not a problem with the media then put it in the MC9 bug thread if it is a bug with the latest version of mc9.
