calling MC with Remote Server
« on: October 24, 2007, 02:40:58 pm »

I sometimes use MC's Remote Server and came upon a question.

Remote Server works well for controlling the basic functions of MC, once MC is running. Is there some way to call MC to open remotely?
I prefer not to have MC start with Windows all the time to achieve this and hope for some other method.

I have been using MC for a few years and, no, I haven't seen anything like this built in. You could use the schedular to open it at a certain time, or start it minimised.

Otherwise you'd be looking at installing another application to start MC when needed (and possibly shut it down again afterwards)
