Handheld... option "Cover Art: Remove from Tags"
« on: November 06, 2007, 07:00:32 pm »

I was thinking that ticking this option, files transferred from PC to the handheld would be removed its cover art embedded.
But it's not so... files transferred keep cover art.

How this option work then?

Thanks in advance

On an Ipod, I have found that selecting this option does NOT allow the cover art to be displayed on the Ipod.  I don't know about other handhelds.

I think that this excellent program is too iPod oriented... which is a bit annoying.
By the way MP3 files are stored inside iPod player, there is not so much possibilities to check how data are kept, then is enough to avoid displaying of cover art to reach desire solution.
But in the player I use (Meizu player) where it's very important to not transfer embedded cover art in tags, as this produce malfunctions of some features, I have all the possibilities to check how files are stored and what data contains, and I found out that this option "Cover Art: Remove from Tags" is not working properly.
Or maybe I haven't understood how this option works.
