No sound when using ASIO device which is not default sound device

Hi,

I would like to use ASIO output mode using my Lynx2B card, but there is no sound output unless "Play1" output of Lynx2B is selected as default sound device in Vista's Control Panel.

Is this expected behavior(ASIO output from non-default sound device doesn't work) or some additional configuration needed?

I also have the same problem with onboard audio (ALC889A) with ASIO4LL.

Have you tried choosing different ASIO devices and line numbers in MC > Options > Playback > Output mode settings...?

There should be no reason that it matters what the default device is unless the driver does something confusing.
