I was under anesthesia today so I missed out on the new news, And I kind of just woke up.

As long as I remember I have been interested in Space and what is out there to learn about our universe and beyond.

I heard they took some micro hits on the shuttle during this flight, and not sure if they fixed there power problem on the space station.

JimH:
They repaired one of the solar panels that had a rip.

Welcome back.

On a similar note, this made news today as well:

http://www.voanews.com/english/Science/2007-11-07-voa42.cfm

A solar system had a 5th planet discovered. It's in the zone where water may be liquid, but quite a bit larger than earth.

There was also a bit of new news on possible Ice on Mars On Our World On VOA Today.

It reminds me of the movie:

Robinson Crusoe on Mars - Criterion Collection (1964)
