Help with GENRE
« on: November 16, 2007, 12:44:05 am »

I may be losing my mind but, I thought I read that you could list multiple genres by seperating them with a semi-colon.  I tried it and ended up with a genre listed like "Rock; 80's; Metal".
Is there a way to have a song listed in more then one genre and if so, where did I mess it up?
Thanks!!

Genre is just a single string field. If you look at Options\Library & Folders\Standard Library Fields\Genre, you can see how it's defined. To get what you want, you'll need to create your own User Library Field that is defined as a data type of "List (semicolon delimited)". You can use the Events field as a template and just make your own look similar to that.
