I'm finally switching to MC12 from MC11. I started doing some more library cleanup and the rename properties in the detail pane isn't working. Tried F2, right-click->rename, and Edit->Rename -- nothing works. In the tag window, the tag can be updated okay. Checked this on two machines. Uninstalled, and reinstalled the oldest MC12 I had -- V12.0.279. In .279, the F2/Rename feature works properly. Doesn't work in .318 and .370, the other two versions I tried. Still using Windows 2000.
Nothing weird in these computers. I haven't changed the keymapping or anything. The machine I tried the different versions on is a fairly new clean install from a couple of months ago.
I can't think of anything else to try? Any ideas?
Doug
