Error in the Expression Wizard...maybe
« on: November 26, 2007, 03:27:08 pm »

Ok, I've got a delimited list field that stores a series of names, and I want my view scheme to only show songs that have someone in that field.  So, I use the wizard and enter the following condition, which should work fine.

[Field] :is not any: <empty>

But, the instant I use the view scheme, I find that the condition has been changed to...

[Field] :is any: <empty>

Which is the opposite of what I'm looking for.  Is there something wrong with the way the wizard is storing this scheme, or some logical error that I'm not aware of?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Does it only happen with the one list type field?

What if you use that field in a smartlist (with the wizard)?  Does that work any better or worse?

Thanks.

It seems to be confined to that particular type of field.  More specifically, it only seems to occur when the <empty> is involved.

No, smartlist or view scheme, it behaves the same way.

Thanks for looking into this.

Should be fixed in build 379 and later.

Thanks for the help.
