Not sure what It's called, but I decided to "remove" the VIDEO icon on the upper left of MC.
I was thinking that since I didn't use MC for any video - this icon could be removed. So I right-clicked on it and deleted it!.
So there must have been an option in MC to do so.

Anyway, Is there a way to have it put back?

select playing now, as in your screenshot.
in the top toolbar, select edit, add view scheme
Pick a couple of video related panes in step 1
Untick auto and name it Video in step 2
Give it a video icon
make it visible in theatre view if you plan to use it this way.
Tree position may need some experimentation, but start with top
in step 4, type [media type]=video

press OK and see what happens

doing it manually works too.
the benefit of doing things manually is that you get the video item back without losing any other viewschemes created in the audio or images nodes.

Obviously, if these are still in their default states, then there is nothing to lose and so reset to default is the easiest route.

If the library doesn't contain any video files importing a video file automaticallly recreates the video category. At least that works for me.

I wasn't able to test what happens if the library has imported video files. It is not possible to delete the root video view scheme in this case. Maybe that was possible with some old build of MC12.

Yes I just noticed that all audio view schemes went back to default.
But it was an easy fix to get it back to how I like it.
