I am recording tapes through the line-in to mp3 vbr.  When I start out everything records fine.  At some point a persistant crackling or static noise comes into the recording. The first two tracks or so are great, and everything after that is TERRIBLE.  At one point I did record a whole 60 minutes without any problems.  Any ideas?
