CDDB Local Cache
« on: August 12, 2002, 10:01:19 am »

Hi,

I read in the help file that at some point, MJ looks in a Local Cache for CD data.  Not sure which file it is.  Would it be possible to point MJ to the local FreeDB?

I'm sure that it is known that other ripping apps can read and write to local FreeDB.  In some cases it is referred to as local CDDB.

Duragame,

Local CD Cache is just an information stored in JMD files.

Our contract with CDDB does not allow as to use and other DB, but maybe it will change in next version.
