PSP transfer problem
« on: December 26, 2007, 08:08:43 pm »

Hi
Santa brought PSP running v3.80 ofw
when transferring mp3 to the device from mc12 399, a couple of funnies were noticed, help would be appreciated in addressing them
the PSP will only play a couple of seconds of mp3's at 320kbps, I can get around that by automatically converting to lower value, but the next one bugs me.
my mp3 library file structure is Artist\Album\track.mp3, the PSP doesn't like this, and is unable to navigate further down the structure, it seems only to be happy with Artist\track.mp3.
Any way of telling mc12 to automatically organise files to the PSP's liking ??

the PSP wont read anything past the first folder inside the music folder. so what you have to do is group them in an

Artist - Album folder name, then when in the music menu screen on the psp, use the group mode to switch between albums.
