Tim or anyone!
I am running a registered version of MJ8 on win98. I have downloaded the latest version.
I have done EVERYTHING on the problems page.
I have uninstalled MJ8 and reinstalled it to a different folder.
I have tried to install a plugin to rip to MP3 format ( Why is this not standard?)
EVERY time I try to install the plug in (either from the internet or using the method described for a computer not attached to the internet on the problem page) I get the error 1157. Failed to register object. C:\Program Files\Media Jukebox\Plugins\enc_mp3.dll
In the folder "Plugins" there is a file enc_mp3.dll

Can anyone please help?
What is error 1157?
Someone must know and I need mp3 fromat so should i persivere or write this off as a bad buy and con and buy something else?

1. Use Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher

2. If You Are Already Using IE then go to "Tools", "Internet Options", General Tab, Find The "Delete" Button (For Delete Temp Internet Files)

Then Try Again.

Have you had any luck yet?  I am in the same boat as you and it's really fustrating that there is no voice support to help you through these problems.  Please let me know if you come up with a solution and I'll do the same.    Thanks

if that does not work maybe

Delete Everything In:

C:\Documents and Settings\(Your Logon Name)\Local Settings\Temp

Do not select anything with Todays Date, It May Be In Use And Will Error Out.
