Unicode Video Files Broken on Double-Click Only
« on: February 08, 2008, 09:41:12 am »

Hiya,
Unicode characters in video filenames appear to be broken when double-clicking to play from Explorer. Importing and playing these files from the library works nicely, but not from explorer.
Have tried with Russian, Chinese & Japanese characters, so I'd assume this is going to be common to all unicode video filenames. IIRC, a bug was fixed for image files with this issue a few builds ago, so I'd guess that we have some overflow somewhere :)

Cheers

It'll be fixed in the next public build.  We switched the launcher to have a smaller footprint recently, but it wasn't properly supporting a Unicode command line anymore.
