removing specific word from all tags/filenames
« on: February 12, 2008, 10:24:01 pm »

Is there a way I can remove a single word from all of my tags/filenames (both preferably) Some of my albums are mis-tagged as explicit, and they have [Explicit] right after the title in the tag and the filename. Can I just remove that one word from all of them?

Try this:

Select all of the files you want to remove the [Explicit] word from.
Right click and choose Library Tools->Find and Replace...
In the list on the left, select all the fields you're interested in.
In the "Find what:" box put "[Explicit]" or maybe even " [Explicit]" (note the space)
Leave the "Replace:" box blank.
Click OK.
