I would like to transfer song (files) and tag info from my handheld to media center. Is this possible?

Also, what exactly does sync do. I always thought it would look at both the handheld and the mc library, see whats different, then sync them so they are the same. I assume it does not work that way.

I guess I would like to know how you do this:
Say I grab my wifes handheld and transfer files from hers to mine, then I want the mc12 library to copy these files when I plug it in.

Syncing is primarily a one way street - to the device. With some devices we do attempt to sync back user ratings and play counts from the device to Media Center but there is no current mechanism to transfer files from a device to Media Center.
