cd burning problems
« on: August 04, 2002, 03:45:52 pm »

i love media jukebox 8...however i am having some cd burning issues...although my drive is listed as supported i am unable to burn without the generic drivers...which wouldn't be a problem, but the cd-text doesn't come up on my cd-changer (my drive is compatible) and after a 3 songs (of 17) play or i skip ahead my changer jumps to the next cd and then the disc won't register as being in the player afterwards...i've burned cds with cd-text using hotburn before, and my changer reads the text... my changer plays cd-r's...when  burned i had test mode and eject unchecked, normalize, 2 sec gaps unchecked, decode mp3s directly to cd and generic driver checked, new aspi drivers had been installed and auto-insert was off...

Please help me...to not be able to take "abbey road" on the road is horrible!

here is my system info:

Aaron,
Please check the FAQ on this, and then take a look at the similar problems on the first couple of pages.  There have been a few happy endings lately.

XP seems to have a mind of it's own.
